About The Position

As an Inventory Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels of finished goods, raw materials, and supplies to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will be responsible for coordinating ordering and tracking of inventory, conducting regular inventory audits, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field required
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and inventory management software.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management preferred.
  • experience in a cannabis company preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cannabis industry-specific regulations, including seed-to-sale tracking requirements, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to use material handling equipment such as a forklift a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately record all plant movements, harvests, trim activities, WIP, and waste in Metrc.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts including: discrepancy investigations, documentation and Metrc adjustments.
  • Prepare samples and outgoing manifests for cultivation R&D testing.
  • Monitor plant batches through various growth stages ensuring tags are securely attached and legible.
  • Oversee the weighing and storage of trim, making sure separate batches are never commingled.
  • Maintain a clean storage environment for all harvested materials including clear labeling and physical organization.
  • Generate accurate labels for application to all bins, drying racks and WIP packages.
  • Review batch chain of custody forms and elevate concerns to relevant managers.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of inventory management.
