Requirements

  • High school or GED required.
  • 3+ years of direct experience in inventory picking and packing.
  • Great attitude with a spirit of Teamwork required!
  • Extreme attention to detail required. We sell thousands of different items, many extremely similar, and only differentiated by millimeters or one number or letter code difference. It can make a difference in the life or death of a pet.
  • Must be able to read small print.
  • Basic computer knowledge; the machine uses software that requires the operator to type in basic commands.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent movement within the warehouse for inventory management, and engaging in repetitive motion as part of daily tasks.
  • Must be able to count, sort, and work efficiently.
  • Can not have an issue with transposing numbers or letters.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with Inventory and Warehouse Management System (WMS) software.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize orders for processing to ensure customer’s shipping needs are met.
  • Accurately pick orders from the vertical lift system using an ERP to ensure proper inventory and quantities are selected according to the customer’s request.
  • Help perform cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare shipping labels for shipment to customers.
  • Responsible for processing customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with the daily operational workflow.
  • Restock items needed for inventory into the vertical lift system in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and office.
