About The Position

Alt is unlocking the value of alternative assets, starting with the $5B trading-card market. We let collectors buy, sell, vault, and finance their cards in one place and we are backed by leaders at Stripe, Coinbase, Seven Seven Six, and pro athletes like Tom Brady and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Our next frontier is real-time pricing at scale—the Alt Value that powers every trade, loan, and product on the platform. The Role: Onsite at our Delaware vault. Weekend shift. Most people in this hobby will never hold the cards you'll handle every day. A Jordan rookie. They come through our doors, and you're the person who receives them, photographs them, catalogs them, stores them, and gets them back out the door. The Vault is the physical backbone of Alt. Collectors buy and sell seven days a week, and the weekend shift is how we keep cards moving when most of the industry is closed. It's hands-on work with real stakes, and it's the best seat in the building if you actually care about cards.

Requirements

2+ years in a high-volume operational environment (e.g., warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, retail stockroom, card shop, or grading room).
Demonstrated attention to detail and a system for catching own mistakes.
Reliability, including consistent attendance every Thursday through Monday, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Physically able to perform the work, including prolonged standing and sitting, reaching, bending, repetitive handling, and lifting.
The instinct to speak up when a process isn't working, instead of working around it quietly.

Nice To Haves

Collecting experience.
Experience with a WMS, scanners, or inventory systems.
Comfort in Excel.
A state-issued guard card or similar security certification.

Responsibilities

Receive shipments, verify what's inside against what was declared, photograph and digitize each card, catalog it, and shelve it. Then pull, pack, and ship when it sells or the owner wants it back.
Protect the inventory by ensuring chain of custody, accurate counts, and careful handling.
Keep intake and outtake moving on Saturdays and Sundays with a smaller crew to ensure Monday doesn't start behind.
Identify and suggest improvements for slow, error-prone, or inefficient workflows.
Provide feedback to product and data teams on the tools used for inventory management.
Handle intake at card shows and events, which may involve some travel.
