About The Position

Phoenix Tailings is looking for a Procurement and Warehouse Associate to support the movement of materials from purchase request through receipt, storage, and delivery to internal teams. This role is essential to keeping our production, engineering, and facility operations supplied with the materials they need to advance clean critical-metals production. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, attentive to detail, and comfortable working across both procurement and hands-on warehouse operations. You will take ownership of incoming deliveries, inventory records, and material flow while helping Phoenix Tailings build scalable supply-chain systems that support our continued growth.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, or a related role.
  • Experience using an ERP or inventory-management system; experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to accurately compare purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, quantities, and part numbers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams, with the ability to maintain organized purchasing and inventory records.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple orders, deliveries, requests, and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, production personnel, and internal requestors.
  • Ability to work safely in an active warehouse and manufacturing environment and routinely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase requests, place orders with approved suppliers, and maintain accurate, confirmations, receipts, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor open orders and communicate with vendors to obtain acknowledgments, shipment tracking, revised delivery dates, and resolutions for shortages, damage, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Receive parcel and freight deliveries, inspect materials, and verify quantities, part numbers, and condition against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Complete purchasing, receiving, inventory-transfer, adjustment, and material-issue transactions accurately within the company’s ERP system.
  • Label, store, stage, and issue materials to production, engineering, facilities, and project teams while maintaining clearly defined inventory locations.
  • Perform cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and support physical inventories and audits to maintain reliable material records.
  • Prepare outbound shipments and maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse that supports efficient material flow across Phoenix Tailings operations.
