About The Position

Responsible for the effective execution of all contract work control processes and digital/physical maintenance of stores inventory. Create purchase requisitions for contract work. Identify and audit spare parts inventory. Receive inventory and remove from stock both digitally and physically. Coordinate purchase of parts and materials as needed. Manage usage and raw material inventory items, implement inventory control protocols and control day to day inventory operations. Publish contractor schedule, including the contractor log. Ensure on-site contractors comply with the site policies, including SHE and FSQ. Maintain and execute against a list of critical technical support contracts. Lead scheduling meeting with internal customers to finalize priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times. Create and publish efficient and workable weekly schedules for all plant maintenance technicians. Interface with departments weekly to identify planned work for each day the following week. Review planned work for inclusion to schedule. Review backlog work with departments to ensure it is prioritized. Continuously improve the performance of the overall scheduling process by receiving feedback from internal customers. Develop training which addresses skill gaps for all employees Train system leaders and outbound drivers on transactions associated with usage and shipping. Responsible for individuals’ competence and accuracy Manage payments of monthly service contracts Organize and communicate schedule to all resources including, maintenance, operations, storeroom, production, outside services and engineering. Comply with financial policies on inventory maintenance. Maintain accurate metrics on the performance of the scheduling process and provide timely reports to the Maintenance Manager Maintain critical spare parts inventory and appropriate levels of parts inventory. Ensure parts are labeled appropriately for identification and ensuring housekeeping of stores area is maintained. Maintain clear areas for receipt and dispatching of parts. Stock parts after receiving. Maintain correct stock inventory in Mainsaver and allocate parts against Mainsaver assets. Implement Kanban process for stock holding. Check out parts from Mainsaver. Propose consolidation of inventory where practical. Ensure stores area is organized with a 5S mindset. Conduct annual audit of stores inventory levels to optimize stock, minimizing inventory while avoiding stock-outs. Monitor parts turnover for consignment stocking opportunities. Lead and perform daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts. Ensuring process meets all regulatory requirements and reporting is complete and accurate. Assess and improve the flow of supplies through the plant Track and manage inventory levels and control and collaborate with Plant Buyer Collaborate with supply chain/operations to identify, analyze and address gaps in inventory Work with QA on trace recall accuracy. Ensure 4-hour trace with 99% accuracy Support QA and Ops on accurate usage and tracking rework. Ensure documented lots are lots used physically and systematically Act as second lead for year end physical count. Independently following up on all discrepancies, and recounts. Assist plant accountant with reconciliation and inventory adjustments Determine ingredient usage shortage for operation. Root cause shortages and initiate replacement to avoid business interruption Collaborate with operations to problem solve all issues regarding usage, inventories, failed transactions and integration between information systems Lead root cause of issues utilizing the issue to increase operator understanding of prevention Coordinate with production leadership, operators, buyer and support to resolve discrepancies between inventory, receipts, and consumption. Comply with HR policies and procedures. Comply with relevant employment laws. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices. Occasional overtime may be required. Other duties as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of (2) years of experience is necessary.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is necessary.
  • Knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical systems is necessary to administer work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide simple and accurate instructions.
  • Can manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.
  • Experience with databases and spreadsheets.

  • Some college or Associate Degree preferred.
