About The Position

Ellsworth Adhesives specs in materials for products such as cell phones, spaceships, and electric vehicles. Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry-leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer, has an Inventory Analyst opportunity. This role reports into SCD, an Ellsworth Corporation company, located in Germantown, WI, and is an on-site/hybrid role. Ellsworth Corporation is a family-run company with over 50 years of continuous growth, serving as an industry-leading global distributor, manufacturer, and packager of adhesives used in cell phone, medical device, space/aerospace, and electric vehicle industries. This role is responsible for driving inventory performance, optimization, and alignment across supply chain operations. The analyst will analyze inventory data, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and reporting to assess overall inventory health and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement effective stocking strategies. The position provides data-driven insights to influence business decisions and contributes to Sales, Inventory, Operating Planning (SIOP) and integrated business processes (IBS).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Supply Chain or related field
  • Microsoft Excel certification (or equivalent proficiency)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, including making recommendations which may be outside standard operating procedures
  • Possess an understanding of the entire supply chain within the commodity and understands/communicates the impact of supply disruptions upstream
  • Effectively communicates the impact of supply disruptions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • SQL and PowerBI experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, etc.

  • APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) – Part 1
  • Continuous Improvement experience desired

Responsibilities

  • Execute and support enterprise inventory strategy, segmentation, and optimization frameworks
  • Collaborate with distribution, commercial, and supply chain teams to implement efficient stocking solutions
  • Develop and maintain inventory KPIs, reporting, and analytics to guide business decisions
  • Analyze inventory recommendations (safety stock, reorder points, service levels) and make recommendations based on supplier costs, terms, and demand patterns
  • Presents inventory recommendations to customer audience to drive adoption, working with suppliers to expedite material customers as necessary
  • Apply inventory models (Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), safety stock, segmentation strategies) and maintain planning parameters
  • Support (SIOP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBS) and continuous improvement initiatives
