About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our Materials team in Hendersonville, North Carolina. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, improving process reliability, and supporting operational performance across the site. The Inventory Analyst supports inventory accuracy, control, and reporting by analyzing transactions, resolving discrepancies, supporting inventory counts, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve material flow and inventory performance. This position will evaluate inventory trends and transactional activity, identify root causes of discrepancies, and help drive corrective actions that improve inventory integrity and material visibility. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, collaborating across functions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience working with ERP systems and inventory transactions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly and effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing or operations environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, materials, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain analysis preferred
  • Experience with cycle counting, physical inventory, and reconciliation processes preferred
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methods, lean principles, or process standardization is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory transactions, adjustments, and trends to identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle count analysis, reconciliation activities, and root cause investigation
  • Support physical inventory planning, execution, validation, and follow-up resolution of count variances
  • Review inventory movement to ensure system transactions accurately reflect physical material flow
  • Partner with warehouse, shipping, receiving, planning, purchasing, and production teams to resolve inventory-related issues
  • Investigate negative inventory, location mismatches, overdue transactions, and material variances
  • Prepare and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards related to inventory accuracy, aging, shortages, excess, and obsolete stock
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen inventory control and improve transactional discipline
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standardized inventory procedures and work instructions
  • Support internal audits and provide inventory analysis to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders as needed
