About The Position

XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems that help reduce the carbon footprint. We’re looking for an Inventory Analyst to own accuracy, visibility, and optimization of inventory across our operations, turning data into action for Planning, Purchasing, and Operations. This role drives inventory accuracy, visibility, and optimization through structured analysis and data-driven insights. The Inventory Analyst will own end-to-end inventory processes, investigate discrepancies, and deliver actionable recommendations that guide Material Planning and operational decisions.

Requirements

  • DEC or bachelor’s in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in inventory/materials/warehouse in manufacturing.
  • ERP experience (Epicor/Kinetic is an asset).
  • Strong Excel; analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written); strong cross-functional communication.
  • Process improvement mindset and curiosity.

Responsibilities

  • Own inventory data & integrity: Analyze discrepancies (negative bins, wrong locations, missing transactions) and drive corrective actions with Warehouse, Production, and Receiving.
  • Lead cycle counts: Plan and execute counts, analyze variances, and recommend adjustments; close the loop quickly.
  • Optimize stock usage: Monitor slow-moving/obsolete items and champion the use-first list with AE/Sales to reduce waste and avoid unnecessary buys.
  • Support stock strategy through data: Provide trends and insights (usage patterns, discrepancies) that inform min/max, safety stock, and replenishment priorities.
  • Drive reporting excellence: Produce clear, data-driven reports on inventory health, discrepancies, priorities, and optimization opportunities; present findings to Planning, Purchasing, and Operations.
  • Ensure compliance & traceability: Maintain accurate documentation to meet audit and quality requirements, including NCR/RMA/RTV flows.
  • Standardize & improve: Identify gaps in inventory procedures, recommend improvements, and help standardize best practices across sites.
  • Flag risks early: Surface inventory issues that could impact production or shipments and recommend corrective actions.
