Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County." Our location produces liquid egg, hardcook egg, and precooked egg such as scrambled, patties and omelets.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in warehousing and computer skills.
  • Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use standard office technology such as a computer, copier/fax machine and phone system.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effectively read, write and speak English.
  • Strong math and configuration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing finished goods inventories, including controlling stocking levels of all items and maintaining accurate inventory control to protect company investment while meeting customer needs.
  • Complying with Safety work rules at all times and reinforcing Safety as a Core Value.
  • Ensuring that all policies, procedures and activities related to Food Safety & Quality are followed and complied with uniformly.
  • Controlling aged product and rotation.
  • Alerting management and the transportation coordinator of any discrepancies with shipments.
  • Working closely with the clerk and leads concerning issues with inventory, receipts or shipments.
  • Working with MFI locations for intercompany shipments and discrepancies.
  • Preparation of documents, reconciliation of inventory, and investigation of OD&D’s.
  • Working with customer service, supervisor, and manager concerning inventory shortages for customers.
  • Closely watching and monitoring tasks in TRM for any issues or completion.
  • Watching product needs and ensuring inbound receipts are completed in order as needed.
  • Working with QA and Customer Service for return orders.
  • Performing general office duties to include answering phones, faxing and filing documents.
  • Accountable for a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Adhering to all safety policies and procedures and incorporating safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
  • Adhering to Quality work practices, following GMP’s, maintaining sanitary conditions and ensuring product quality is maintained. Reporting to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.
