About The Position

The Inventory Analyst position is responsible for improving and then maintaining the accuracy of the inventory records through continuous cycle counts, root cause analysis of discrepancies and implementing process improvements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated inventory control experience in a manufacturing
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exercise good logic and common sense
  • HS Diploma or higher
  • ERP systems experience
  • Familiar with manufacturing environment
  • Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by all pertinent regulations and are required to show proof substantiating this upon being hired.

Responsibilities

  • Control and maintain Inventory accuracy in the following areas: Finish Goods Warehouse, Component Warehouse, Component Offsite Warehouse, Pistol Assembly / Rifle Assembly
  • Ensure inventory data integrity for all areas and maintain the material inventory score card
  • Perform continuous analysis of Inventory activity to ensure meeting Management guidelines
  • Plan, conduct, record, and track results of daily cycle count activity
  • Perform root cause analysis on discrepancies
  • Correct incomplete transactions, resolve root cause
  • Assist to establish and control minimum and maximum Inventory levels
  • Monitor transfers of materials within Kimber and between branches
  • Implement change orders as required on material in inventory
  • Coordinate with QC the nonconforming process to ensure accurate accountability of parts to scrapped, routed for rework, returned to production for “use as is” or returned to suppliers.
  • Manage the separation of usable and excess and obsolete material in inventory
  • Provide backup to warehouse / shipping personnel when required.
  • Provide support during Serialized inventory and End of Year counts
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cycle counters in order to accomplish inventory management activities
  • Work on special projects as required
  • All other duties as assigned
