Opportunity Overview Inventory Modeling & Forecasting- Based on current business conditions and product life cycle what inventory and liabilities should TER have. Identifying and reconciling gaps from the inventory model to actual inventory levels. Report on management findings as well as identifying areas of opportunity. Drive inventory reduction initiatives across functional groups to capitalize on opportunities identified in analytical work. Develop inventory optimization models to establish the correct inventory levels given certain business parameters Help manage the Excess & Obsolete quarterly process - Review up to $800M in gross inventory. You will work closely with our main subcontract manufacturer in understanding inventories through the complete supply chain. Understand inventory changes quarter over quarter. Integrate with marketing and demand management on determining customer forecasts. Present to finance your findings and recommend appropriate inventory provisions. Product allocations- Updating and maintaining all products component allocations for new parts and existing parts to find out which platform they are used on. Inventory Scrap Review- Perform statistical analysis on inventory forecast and historical shipments. Communicate with Demand Management, Finance, New Products, and Global service groups to identify appropriate inventory to scrap. Customer Material returns - Key operations person to review and manage customer returns to ensure formal disposition plan is place and executed. Consignment and Aging Material- Review subcontractors excess and obsolete inventory. Validate and approve claims. Participate in processes and application continual improvement projects. Potential travel to perform audits in factories and warehouses or preform onsite collaboration across the world including Malaysia, Philippines, Costa Rica, Japan, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Operations Management or relevant field.
  • Outstanding statistical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of MRP and Ops planning concepts.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
  • Must be able to juggle different tasks and prioritize accordingly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Some knowledge of Oracle 11i Or Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro would be a plus.
