About The Position

DP World is building a brand-new operation in Moreno Valley, California, and is seeking detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analysts to support its successful launch and ongoing performance. This role offers the opportunity to investigate inventory discrepancies, analyze data, improve processes, and collaborate with operations teams to enhance inventory accuracy. As an Inventory Analyst, you will be crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting operational performance, and identifying areas for continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include analyzing inventory trends, investigating variances, supporting audits, and generating reports to guide operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, inventory analysis, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting inventory audits and cycle count programs.
  • Experience with KPI reporting, customer reporting, and operational metrics.
  • Startup operation experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data, trends, KPIs, and service level metrics.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans to improve inventory performance.
  • Execute inventory reconciliations between system, customer, and physical inventory records.
  • Support cycle count programs, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
  • Generate and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate master data within warehouse management systems.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Customer Service, and Inventory Control teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Support training, documentation, process mapping, and work instruction updates.
  • Participate in startup activities, process implementation, and system testing (UAT).
  • Communicate inventory-related issues and solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
