Inventory Analyst - Nucor Towers & Structures
About The Position
Nucor Towers and Structures is seeking applicants for our Inventory Analyst position. The teammate in this position must be successful working in a team setting or independently on projects that will help the division reach its goals. This is a developmental role. This position will be at the division site location but will require travel to other production facilities on an as-needed basis. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven commitment to safety.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft office applications.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to plan around month/year end closings.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with purchasing or inventory control.
- Ability to analyze and think strategically
Responsibilities
- Receiving/entering all raw material warehouse and steel products.
- Receiving/verifying inventory amounts daily.
- Receiving MRO all other purchased category items for the division.
- Completing inventory tracking and investigating discrepancies.
- Managing cycle counts and physical inventory counts with the plant.
- Preparing reports. Month end reporting for receiving and allocation of materials to jobs.
- Completing inventory adjustments and inventory movement with outside processors.
- Addressing any inventory concerns from internal customers.
- Filing and scanning of inventory documents including MTR’s.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
