About The Position
Under direction of a cardiologist, radiologist or vascular surgeon, functions as a member of a team utilizing specialized high technology equipment and performing invasive procedures on adult through geriatric patients leading to diagnosis and treatment of heart, neuro vascular and peripheral vascular disease.
Requirements
- Graduate of radiology technology or cardiovascular technology program or equivalent education and experience.
- Certification/Licensure Requirements: Registered Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or must become RT(R), RCIS certified within two years of hire
- BLS currently or obtain within 6 months
Nice To Haves
- Invasive cardiovascular or peripheral vascular or neuro-vascular experience or specialty x-ray (i.e. ultrasound, CT, MRI).
