Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist
About The Position
This position is for an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist working 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off. The role requires on-call availability during weekdays and weekends. Candidates must have two years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab. Required certifications include one of the following: ARRT (Radiography (R), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), or Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)), CCI-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or CCI-Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). For RCIS or RCES designations, Fluoroscopy Operator Registration is required. BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications are also mandatory. A radiation badge will be provided by the supplier.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab.
- ARRT: ARRT -Radiography (R), ARRT- Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), or ARRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)
- CCI- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- CCI-Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Fluoroscopy Operator Registration – REQUIRED for RCIS and/or RCES
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
Nice To Haves
- Fluoroscopy is not required for candidates with ARRT.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist.
