Our Values Respect | Belonging | Accountability | Transparency Department Invasive Cardiology Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, the Invasive Cardiology Nurse Coordinator is responsible for coordination and facilitation of all aspects of safe patient care delivery for patients undergoing diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures in Invasive Cardiology Labs. Furthermore, coordinates and solves administrative problems on campus (inpatient / outpatient) within the operations of Hospital Services- including but not limited to: Patient Flow, Clinical Staffing, Regulatory Issues, Disaster Response, Employee Health, Emergency Management, Descendent Affairs, Risk Management, Safety - Security/ Help Desk / Patient Representative/ Social Services/ Nutrition Service/ Physician Relations / Human Resources and Community Health Services on a shift basis for Denver Health. The professional nurse adheres to the American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of professional nursing and performance, and the ANA Code of Ethics to provide care to all healthcare consumers. Applies critical thinking, evidence-based practices, and competence to collaborate with the health care team to promote excellence in healthcare consumer safety and quality outcomes.
