About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add an Invasive Cardiology Technologist at our Cath Lab located at Baptist South. This Cath Lab Technologist opportunity is a full-time day shift opportunity. No call or weekends will be required for this EP Technologist. This EP Technologist performs diagnostic EP procedures and interventions such as electrocardiograms as well as preparing patients for their procedures, ensuring all equipment is working properly and safely, monitoring the recording during procedures, assisting with lab analysis and interpretation, you may also assist physicians with pacing and installations of devices.
Requirements
- Less Than One Year Cath Lab Experience
- Experience Working In A Hospital Setting
Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment during EP cardiac procedures.
- Assist physicians with device setup and sterile field maintenance.
- Monitor patient status and hemodynamics throughout procedures.
- Document procedure details accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and support ACLS protocols.
