Intramural Sports General Official - Mac Campus
About The Position
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Intramural Sports General Official will help run the on-going sports programs. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1 Year Related Experience
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec
- English communication both verbally and in writing (Level 4)

- Strong knowledge of the selected sport is an asset.
- Ability to learn quickly and multitask.
- Well organized with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Officiating/refereeing intramural matches
- Game coordination and application intramural and sports specific rules
- Assist with player check-in and scorekeeping
- Assist with equipment setup and takedown
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive playing environment
