Requirements

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • 1+ years work experience in a similar role.
  • Basic math and record keeping skills.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills - MS Office, Inventory control software.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asyle

Responsibilities

  • Perform supportive tasks related to intra-logistics, under direct supervision.
  • Handle, transport, and storage of raw material, parts, products, or components within the plant.
  • Count incoming components by hand or scale, report and record shortages.
  • Verify all paperwork for accuracy and follow record retention policies for incoming and outgoing components.
  • Read pick orders and select the correct items from storage to fill orders accurately and quickly.
  • Operate metal saw as needed to prepare raw material for in house production, outside vendors, or metallurgical inspection.
  • Update inventory counts using SAP software to receive, reverse, issue, and scrap components.
  • Confirm the accuracy of deliveries by comparing packing lists, labels, and purchase orders.
  • Physically unloading shipments and placing them in designated storage areas within the warehouse.
  • Check for any damage to items during transit and report any discrepancies.
  • Use tools like forklifts and hand trucks to move goods within the plant.
  • Ensure the workstation area and storage locations are clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
  • Prepare and package items for shipping, including labeling and creating shipping documents.
  • Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
  • Ability to adjust as procedures and policies change.
