The IDEA Interventionist Teacher's primary mission is to provide targeted intervention to small groups of students who have significant academic gaps (2 or more years) in Reading and/or Math, with the goal of closing these gaps within one school year. This role is critical in preparing students for IDEA’s AP for All initiative. The interventionist will employ a systematic approach, including universal screening, Direct Instruction, frequent progress monitoring, and increasingly intensive research-based interventions for students facing persistent difficulties. This position is grant-funded through Title I Part A, and while funding may be extended, there is no guarantee of ongoing employment beyond the grant period. All duties are directly aligned with the grant's allowable activities.
