The IDEA Interventionist Teacher's mission is to provide targeted intervention to small groups of students who have identified academic gaps of two or more years in Reading and/or Math, with the goal of closing these gaps within one school year. This role is crucial for preparing students to participate in IDEA’s AP for All initiative. The interventionist will utilize a systematic approach including universal screening, Direct Instruction, frequent progress monitoring, and intensive, research-based interventions for students who continue to struggle. This is a grant-funded position, specifically with Title I Part A funds, and while funding may be extended, there is no guarantee of ongoing employment. All duties are tied to the grant's allowable activities.
