The IDEA Interventionist Teacher's primary role is to provide targeted intervention to small groups of students who have significant academic gaps (2 or more years) in Reading and/or Math. The goal is to close these gaps within one school year, ensuring students are prepared for IDEA’s AP for All initiative. This approach involves systematic and intensive support for students at risk of or already underperforming. Key strategies include universal screening, Direct Instruction, frequent progress monitoring, and research-based interventions. This position is grant-funded through Title I Part A, meaning employment is not guaranteed indefinitely and is contingent on continued funding. All duties are directly related to the grant program's allowable activities.
