Interventional Technologist - Interventional Radiology (Full-Time, Temporary, Days). ENL Interventional Radiology Compensation range: $57.13 - $77.13 Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience Shift: Days Shift length: 10-Hours Days off: Variable Hours per pay period: 80, Temporary Enloe Health is a Level II Trauma Center located in beautiful Northern California. This is a temporary position POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Radiology Manager and the supervision of the Lead IR Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. The Interventional Technologist (IR Tech) will be a Diagnostic Technologist which is cross trained in Interventional Radiology. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates X-ray equipment, prepares patient’s room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media. The Tech will be responsible for charging supplies and Current Procedural Terminology codes. The Interventional Technologist supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the Radiology Department.

Requirements

  • Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
  • Current CPR certification
  • ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, radiobiology, and specialized techniques as required for a radiologic technologist.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem solving techniques are required.
  • Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years' experience in diagnostic x-ray
  • Previous interventional experience
  • One year experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist in an acute healthcare facility.
  • ARRT Advanced Level Interventional Certification (Cardiovascular Interventional Technology)

Responsibilities
