About The Position

This role involves assisting in complex procedures and providing diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. The Interventional Technologist will competently perform all specialized imaging procedures (e.g., angio, complex vascular) and interventional/therapeutic procedures, providing support to the Radiologist or Physician Assistant (PA).

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date OR Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.

Nice To Haves

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
1 year of Interventional Technologist work experience strongly preferred.
