Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association Licensure required
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (or AHA-recognized equivalent)
  • Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Interventional Radiology experience preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality imaging to assist physicians during minimally invasive vascular and interventional procedures.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment while ensuring exceptional image quality.
  • Apply specialized positioning techniques and radiographic principles to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Assist physicians during invasive procedures while maintaining a sterile procedural environment.
  • Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ensure radiation safety and protection practices are followed for patients, physicians, and staff.
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
