About The Position
An experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist is needed for a full-time position focusing on neuro procedures. The role involves assisting physicians during complex interventional radiology procedures, including thrombectomies, pulmonary embolisms, uterine fibroid embolizations (UFE), and Y90 treatments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience.
- Current Illinois IEMA license.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT certification.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in neuro procedures.
Responsibilities
- Scrub in and assist with various interventional radiology procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with interventional radiologists and other medical staff.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety.
- Prepare necessary equipment and ensure a sterile environment for procedures.
- Support neuro procedures and respond to emergent situations with efficiency.
