About The Position
This is an imaging position and NOT an RN. It requires an active x-ray license and experience in either interventional radiology or cath lab. Candidates can help with general x-ray if there are no Interventional Radiology procedures being performed.
Requirements
- Associate degree.
- ARRT Certification in Radiology.
- IEMA License.
- BLS Certification.
- Technical experience: 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
- Utilizes PACS and EMR systems.
- Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
- Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency.
- Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
- Performs office duties as needed.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
- Cleans and inspects departmental equipment.
- Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
