The Interventional Radiologic Technologist is responsible for circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures, procedure documentation, patient education and assisting with patient care. Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. This is a full-time position working 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday out of our Vascular & Interventional Experts-Edina Clinic. Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions: Demonstrates knowledge of radiological equipment & safety, shielding techniques, imaging skills and equipment trouble-shooting skills, analyzing and recording equipment and other equipment utilized in the IR department. Circulate and scrub during procedures, patient education, assisting with patient care within scope of practice and inventory management. Able to identify adverse events or unanticipated outcomes using critical thinking skills and notifies the medical staff including nurses and physicians appropriately Practice Radiation Safety in accordance with regulations. Selects accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis Request medical records and imaging from other sites Assist VIE Provider with accurate data collection, documentation, and data entry for compliance Analyze and assist in resolving problems resulting in improvement of patient care, practice, and system operations.
