About The Position

Radiology Interventional Technologists (RIT) working in the CVL play an integral role on our four-person teams. RITs not only operate our Philips fluoroscopy units, but they are also trained in setting up and operating various intravascular imaging (Philips IVUS, Abbott OCT), atherectomy equipment (including rotoblator, CSI, Shockwave, and laser), thrombectomy equipment (Penumbra, AngioJet, Inari), and circulating during procedures. An ideal candidate for this team is an ambitious individual who is open to growing with the ever-changing field that is percutaneous interventional treatment. Someone who is excited to help others when they are at their lowest point - and can do so in a kind and compassionate manner. Under the direct supervision of the physician, provides Cardiovascular/Radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders; Assists physician as required and does related work as assigned. Monitors radiation safety during procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab.

Responsibilities
