Work location: Bethesda North Hospital at 10500 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242. Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, position responsible for the operation of highly technical state of the art radiographic equipment. Position responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the cardiac cath/special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in allied health
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Unrestricted license from ODH
- Understanding of aseptic technique
- Experience in a related field
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates proficiency, competency and knowledge in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CBE's.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of the patients and families.
- Participates in unit QA and QC activities
- Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
- Demonstrates organizational responsibility.
