About The Position

Internal Traveler positions are compensated competitively with other traveler positions, available in a wide variety of clinical practice opportunities, and are offered in 13-week blocks, which may be renewed up to a maximum of 39 weeks. A one-time $2,500.00 incentive pay is offered with the first 13-week assignment. The starting base rate for this role is $63.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography required.
  • Eligible for ARRT (VI) certification.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
  • Standing and sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Frequently bending/stooping.
  • Reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive).
  • Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs.
  • May be exposed to, fumes, cold, heat, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiography preferred.
  • 2 years Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
  • ARRT (VI) certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
