Emory Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their leading team. This role functions as a clinical resource and expert practitioner, providing expert knowledge in anatomy and physiology. The technologist will offer secondary leadership for day-to-day operations, assist the supervisor with staff orientation and competency, and help develop staffing patterns. They will provide quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, monitor patient care assignments, and communicate with nursing units and physicians regarding patient needs and scheduling. The role involves coordinating staffing schedules, ensuring accurate documentation, and assuring staff competency. The technologist will serve as a resource for advanced clinical knowledge, function independently, and coordinate in the absence of the Clinical Specialist.
