About The Position

This role requires a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform procedures and treatments, utilizing a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and theory. The technologist will be responsible for selecting the most appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal outcomes, demonstrating the ability to follow instructions and organize work effectively.

Requirements

• Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory.
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry in Radiography ARRT (R).
• BLS Certification within 14 days of hire.
• New graduate will obtain required registry within 120 days as required.
• State license as required.
• Registry in Vascular Interventional ARRT(VI).

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year as a radiology technologist.
• 6 months experience in IR/Cath lab/EP.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results.
• Demonstrates ability to receive and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to plan and organize work.
