Interventional Radiology Technologist Certified IR - Cardiac Cath Lab
About The Position
This is a Full-Time, Day shift position (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) in the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL. The role requires on-call duties. The Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist) by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab. Responsibilities include ensuring the procedure room is adequately prepared, monitoring instrument and supply levels, participating in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and assisting in the training of new staff. The technologist will also assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT-R and licensed as required by State
- BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
- Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
Responsibilities

- Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
