About The Position
Join our progressive IR team and participate as a primary scrub for cases. We have two primary IR rooms and a Hybrid OR. Job duties include setup, prep, scrub assist and float. Cases include peripheral vascular and visceral angiography, PTA, stenting, embolization, thrombolytic Rx & Y-90. Non-vascular cases include biopsy, biliary, chest, drainage, gastric, nephro, tumor ablation & vetebroplasty. Days with call rotation, 4/10's available.
Requirements
- Maintains current A.R.R.T. registration and standards.
- Holds a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license.
- For positions requiring call, takes call on a rotating basis as assigned by the supervisor after normal working hours.
- On-call response time is no longer than 1 hour; 45 minutes or less is the standard.
Responsibilities
- Participate as a primary scrub for cases.
- Perform setup, prep, scrub assist, and float duties.
- Handle cases including peripheral vascular and visceral angiography, PTA, stenting, embolization, thrombolytic Rx & Y-90.
- Manage non-vascular cases such as biopsy, biliary, chest, drainage, gastric, nephro, tumor ablation & vetebroplasty.
- Take call on a rotating basis as assigned by the supervisor after normal working hours.
