About The Position
Under the general direction of a Cardiologist or Radiologist, the Interventional Radiology Tech assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data. The position ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared and monitors par levels of instruments and supplies. The tech participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and training new staff, and assists with all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT-R certification and state licensure as required.
- BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained as current.
- ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) credential preferred.
- Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.
Responsibilities
