About The Position

Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment working 40 variable hours weekly within a high-acuity Neuro IR/Stroke Team environment at a Level II Trauma and Teaching facility. The RN will work primarily in 2 Cath Labs and 2 Hybrid Peripheral/OR suites, providing specialized care for critically ill neurovascular and interventional radiology patients. This role requires strong ICU-level critical care experience and the ability to manage complex stroke and neuro-interventional cases. Responsibilities include procedural sedation monitoring, ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, arterial line management, recovery of arterial puncture sites, management of vasoactive drips, and collaboration with multidisciplinary stroke and IR teams. Scheduling includes rotating call responsibilities with one week on-call followed by two weeks off. This is not an IR-only role and candidates must have strong ICU experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• IR-only experience will not be accepted
• Active RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• Epic experience required
• Must live 100+ miles from facility
• Strong critical care and stroke team experience required
• Experience with ventilators, arterial lines, sedation drips, and neuro critical care required

Nice To Haves

• Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR experience preferred
• Epic Cupid experience preferred
