About The Position
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for a 26-week contract in Hudson, Florida. The role is in a fast-paced, collaborative procedural unit with 8–10 staff members, including five technicians and five Registered Nurses. The unit provides care for a variety of interventional radiology procedures, with patient safety and high-quality care as priorities. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional work required as needed. The position offers a supportive learning environment and opportunities for professional growth, with an experienced leadership team fostering teamwork and patient care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Critical Care experience.
- Experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Be a team player who is energetic and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a strong foundation in interventional radiology.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Neuro IR.
- Experience in Trauma IR.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the procedural area.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions during interventional procedures.
- Assist with neuro-interventions, angiograms, embolizations, biopsies, and other procedures.
- Use advanced medical equipment, including the GE Biplane Suite and Mac Lab.
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR.
