About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant in Fredericksburg, VA. The role involves providing clinical coverage in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The PA will perform interventional radiology procedures, conduct patient assessments, provide post-procedure care, and collaborate with the healthcare team. The position requires the use of the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Valid VA License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Hospital Privileges Required
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular access under supervision.
- Conduct pre-procedure patient assessments and obtain informed consent.
- Provide post-procedure care and follow-up, including monitoring for complications.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient encounters and procedures in Epic EMR system.
