About The Position
Ensures insurance verification and authorization is obtained for medical services. This role involves billing, collections, insurance verification, and pre-certification. The coordinator will work directly with patients, doctors, and insurance companies, requiring strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare billing, AR, eligibility and pre-certifications
- Medical CPT and ICD10 code knowledge
- Background with eClinicalWorks
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and phone etiquette skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and high productivity environment
