About The Position
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology & Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Lewiston, Idaho. As an Interventional Radiology & Cath Lab Technologist, you will be an integral part of our medical team, providing diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. You will work closely with physicians to assist in complex radiological examinations, prepare patients for procedures, and ensure the safe and effective operation of imaging equipment.
Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or cath lab.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Vascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring all safety measures are followed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory compliance requirements.
