About The Position

Reading Hospital is seeking a collegial and motivated Interventional Radiologist to join our thriving practice following the retirement of a long-standing physician. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality patient care while cultivating a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement. We are open to both full-time and part-time opportunities and are committed to finding the right fit for our team and candidates. Our group treats the breadth of IR including but not limited to interventional oncology, portal hypertension, spinal augmentation, venous disease, pain management, women’s health, advanced biliary intervention, trauma and dialysis access management. It is 100% IR except interpreting follow up imaging for our patients. The consult and rounding service is managed by our PAs. The practice is well-resourced with two dedicated single-plane angiography suites, one biplane suite, a dedicated CT scanner, and two ultrasound-guided procedure suites, with significant capital upgrades underway, including replacement of the CT scanner and biplane suite. There is a complete support team including 14 technicians, 13 registered nurses, 2 scheduling coordinators, and 1 office manager. There is a dedicated 12-bed recovery room for IR and dedicated space for outpatient consults and follow-ups.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship/residency.
  • Valid medical license in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Treat the breadth of IR including but not limited to interventional oncology, portal hypertension, spinal augmentation, venous disease, pain management, women’s health, advanced biliary intervention, trauma and dialysis access management.
  • Interpret follow-up imaging for IR patients.
  • Provide consult and rounding services (managed by PAs).
