Hartford Hospital is actively hiring Interventional Radiologic Technologists across all hours and shifts to join their dynamic team in Hartford, Connecticut. Our Interventional Radiologic Technologists work hands-on with a wide range of image-guided procedures, including vascular and neuro interventions such as angioplasty and embolization. The IR Techs also support oncology procedures and emergency cases, including GI bleeds and trauma.You'll be a key member of a tight-knit procedural team, working side-by-side with IR physicians, nurses, and anesthesia to deliver seamless patient care, with exposure to cutting-edge technology. All of our IR Techs participate in call rotation for emergent cases, with opportunities to build advanced skills in high-acuity, time-sensitive procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
- State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
- ARRT certification in Radiography required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work hands-on with a wide range of image-guided procedures, including vascular and neuro interventions such as angioplasty and embolization.
