Interventional PM&R Physician
About The Position
Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an Interventional PM&R Physician to join their comprehensive pain management clinic in Fairbanks, Alaska. This role is part of a rural health system, offering the opportunity to manage aspects of care that might not be possible in larger settings, allowing for skill development and expanded experience. The position is within a well-established pain management clinic on the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital campus, focusing on diagnosing, managing, and treating chronic pain conditions and neurological disorders. The clinic emphasizes conservative measures but also offers interventional pain management procedures such as epidurals, nerve blocks, and radio frequency ablation when more aggressive treatment is needed.
Requirements
- Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician’s employment agreement.

Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, managing, and treating chronic pain conditions and neurological disorders.
- Performing interventional pain management procedures including epidurals, nerve blocks, and radio frequency ablation.
- Partnering with a multidisciplinary pain management team.
- Managing aspects of care within a rural health system setting.
- Applying conservative measures for pain management whenever possible.
