As a highly motivated and skilled interventional pain physician, you will play a vital role in our state-of-the-art practice.

Requirements

A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program, complemented by fellowship training in pain management
Licensure in South Carolina and North Carolina, or the ability to obtain licenses, with a current license in good standing
Experience or willingness to train in advanced interventional procedures, including: MILD (Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression), SI Fusion, Vertiflex, Kyphoplasty, DRG (Dorsal Root Ganglion) stimulation, SCS (Spinal Cord Stimulation), PNS (Peripheral Nerve Stimulation), And other cutting-edge procedures
Comfort and expertise in prescribing chronic opiate therapy, with a focus on responsible pain management
Willingness to travel to various locations to provide exceptional patient care
Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Pain Medicine, with a clear record of no board sanctions within the last five years

Responsibilities

Perform interventional pain procedures under fluoroscopy and/or ultrasound
Supervise Nurse Practitioners and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team
Examine, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients
Interpret lab results, order imaging studies, and perform procedures for pain relief
Build relationships with referring physicians and contribute to practice growth
