We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our established and growing outpatient practice in the Brandon/Tampa Bay area. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to practice high-quality, evidence-based interventional pain medicine in a collaborative environment with experienced providers, strong clinical support, and an established referral network. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine through: Anesthesiology, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Florida.
  • Experience performing interventional pain procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with neuromodulation and implantable therapies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on improving function and quality of life.
  • Perform a broad range of interventional pain procedures, including: Epidural steroid injections, Facet injections, Medial branch blocks, Radiofrequency ablation, Peripheral nerve blocks.
  • Evaluate and manage patients who may benefit from advanced therapies, including: Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS), Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, therapists, and other members of the care team.
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, expectations, and long-term pain management strategies.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Remain current with advances in interventional pain medicine and participate in continuing medical education.
