About The Position

IQVIA, in partnership with Boston Scientific, is seeking high-performing inside sales representatives with a proven track record of success to join their team. The Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) Virtual/Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for working with a provided call list from Boston Scientific. The role involves scheduling virtual calls to engage with physicians, provide education, identify key referral networks, and determine how Boston Scientific therapies can offer comprehensive healthcare solutions. The ISR will lead sales discussions to close business, utilizing approved tools and resources for sales calls and product promotion exclusively through a virtual platform.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 yr. degree from an accredited University required.
  • 1–3 years of experience managing accounts, workflows, or initiatives where success depended on organization, follow-through, and independent decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data or trends (e.g., sales reports, usage patterns, dashboards, forecasts) and translate insights into next steps or recommendations.
  • Experience communicating with multiple stakeholder types (customers, internal partners, operations, or leadership) to move work forward without in-person interaction.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfort having structured discovery conversations related to pricing, volume, or process efficiency.
  • Willingness and ability to operate with accountability, including owning outcomes tied to forecasts, execution, and customer follow-up.
  • Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM experience, iPad, apps, etc.).
  • Results-oriented with a track record of success and an ability to drive results in a matrix environment.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined self-starter with an ability to work independently.
  • Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal and active listening skills.
  • Clear, articulate, and grammatically sound speech.
  • Excellent rapport building skills.
  • Strong learning agility with an ability to learn, understand and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, medical devices, or another regulated or operationally complex environment.
  • Prior exposure to contract review, pricing discussions, inventory oversight, or margin-sensitive decision-making.
  • Experience supporting or leading capital equipment evaluations, trials, or implementation efforts- virtually.
  • Experience working across a broad product portfolio rather than a single SKU or service.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, reporting dashboards, or performance tracking tools used to manage territories or accounts.
  • Inside Sales Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully completes all assigned training for the Virtual Sales Representative role and dedicates the necessary time to retain and build on foundational product and clinical training.
  • Conducts all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Advamed Policies, and Integrity Policies.
  • Ensures compliance with promotional programs and lunch and learns for HCPs.
  • Provides timely updates to the Project Leader on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
  • Maintains and updates current and prospective target HCP/Clinician profiles.
  • Classifies customer clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care.
  • Determines where therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution.
  • Identifies key referral networks for the assigned therapy.
  • Schedules virtual calls to meet with physicians.
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
  • Drives results in a matrix environment.
  • Identifies opportunities and grows referrals in the assigned territory.
  • Adapts quickly to change and works effectively on various assignments.
  • Builds and maintains business plans tied to measurable outcomes (forecast accuracy, growth targets, pipeline development).
  • Applies feedback and coaching to improve execution, efficiency, and results over time.
  • Sells to Oncologists.
