Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in radiologic science required
  • Basic Life Support [BLS] required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Radiologic Technologist state license required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (ARRT) required

Responsibilities

  • Be an essential member of the procedural team, assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Operate state-of-the-art cardiovascular imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic equipment to support complex procedures while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and patient care.
  • Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, interpret ECG and hemodynamic data, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond confidently using your advanced clinical knowledge and ACLS skills.
  • Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile techniques, uphold radiation safety standards, and ensure every procedure is performed in a safe and efficient environment.
  • Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families, assist with post-procedure recovery and hemostasis, and collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver seamless care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, mentor and support colleagues, maintain equipment readiness, and be part of a collaborative team committed to innovation, clinical excellence, and continuous learning.
