About The Position

INTEGRIS Cardiovascular Physicians (ICP) is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join the INTEGRIS ICP Heart and Vascular Institute of Northwest Oklahoma. The Institute houses INTEGRIS heart and vascular specialists and provides state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities. It is located across the street from the hospital. This is an opportunity for a full-time physician to join a busy, growing practice. The physician provides direct patient care and follows National Patient Safety Goals appropriate to the level of patient contact. The heart care program serves the Enid community and provides access to specialized teams in Oklahoma City. INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital has 207 licensed beds across two facilities and is the area's only nonprofit, faith-based hospital. INTEGRIS Health is Oklahoma's largest Oklahoma-owned not-for-profit health system. It offers more than 170 family care and specialty clinics and employs more than 10,000 people, with a clinically integrated network of more than 1,500 affiliated physicians and providers.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
Oklahoma MD or DO license.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly evaluate and appropriately manage each patient, documenting information completely and promptly in written notes or by dictation.
Accurately identify relevant medical issues and use appropriate procedures and testing.
Complete and maintain problem lists, medication lists, disease-management forms, preventive-maintenance flow sheets, and other medical-record forms.
Participate in quality-improvement and medical-management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee.
Direct staff members to support an efficient, smoothly running team.
Ensure the fiscal viability of the practice.
Comply with applicable policies and procedures.
Provide direct patient care and adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
