About The Position

INTEGRIS Cardiovascular Physicians (ICP) is recruiting for a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join the INTEGRIS ICP Heart and Vascular Institute of Northwest Oklahoma. The Institute houses INTEGRIS heart and vascular specialists and offers state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities, located across the street from the hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to join a busy and growing practice. Our heart care program serves the Enid community and provides seamless access to specialized teams in Oklahoma City, ensuring access to the most comprehensive heart care network in the state. INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital includes 207 licensed beds throughout two facilities and is the only nonprofit, faith-based Enid hospital, serving the area longer than any other general hospital. INTEGRIS Health is the largest Oklahoma-owned not-for-profit health system, known for innovation and unparalleled quality, offering advanced treatment options and specialties found nowhere else in the region. The Physician provides direct patient care and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Oklahoma MD or DO license
  • BE/BC

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
  • Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
  • Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
  • Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
  • Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
  • Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
  • Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
  • The Physician is responsible for patients.
  • This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Must follow universal safety precautions.
